Stan & Carmen Smith
Carmen (NMLS 111371) started her career in the Mortgage Industry field in the year 2000. She realized that helping people achieve their dreams of home ownership was just as satisfying to her as the customers she helped. So, she founded Northside Mortgage Group in April 2004. Stan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ with over 30 years of experience. Stan is also licensed in NC and Virginia in Life, Health. Property Casualty and Long Term Care Insurance. After a successful career in the brokerage industry, Stan co-founded Northside Group Wealth Management to serve the client’s needs above all else.
Macy Smith Swartz
Macy is the daughter of Stan and Carmen Smith, owners of NorthSide Group. She is a graduate of Mount Airy High School and continued her education at Appalachian State University. She has grown up in the mortgage industry helping in various capacities but received her Mortgage Loan Originator License in July 2022.

Kevin Weatherman
Kevin worked for a local community bank for 16 years prior to joining Northside Mortgage Group in January 2017. His primary goal there is to help people obtain new mortgages. He really enjoys that aspect of his job. Kevin is located in our Galax, VA office (NMLS 1649068).
